Patch 1.30 ist verfügbar und bringt immerhin bringt 7,232GB auf die Waage, doch was steckt alles im Update?
Die wichtigste Frage, die viele User stellten: hat es endlich den anfangs erwähnten Mehrspielermodus? Jein. Ihr könnt mit Freunden die Welt erforschen. Ihr seht sie als schwebende Leuchtkugeln wenn ihr am selben Planeten seid und hört sie sprechen. So könnt ihr begrenzt mit bis zu 16 Spielern interagieren. ABER dies soll erst der erste Schritt in einen vollständigen Koop-Modus sein, der euch am Ende erlauben soll miteinander zu forschen. Wann dieses Ziel erreicht werden soll haben die Entwickler jedoch noch nicht bekannt gegeben.
Aber nun zu den anderen Änderungen. Zuerst die Highlights, dann die vollständige Liste:
Highlights:
Atlas Rises Story: eine bis dato unbekannte Rasse taucht auf und ihr müsst die Galaxie vor dem Untergang beschützen; ca 30h solle hier an Gameplay stecken
Galaktische Regeneration: jedes Sonnensystem hat nun ein eigenständiges Ökosystem, mit Umwelt, Konflikten und Lebensformen die ihr mittels Technologie manipulieren könnt, außerdem wurde die Karte entsprechend angepasst
Neue Welten: völlig neue Planeten mit neuen ungewöhnlichen Fauna und Flora
gestrandete Frachter, die von euch ausgebeutet werden können
Missionssystem: auf den Raumstationen könnt ihr euch von NPCs (Missionsoffiizieren) Aufträge holen
Handelssystem
verbesserter Visor: nun könnt ihr deutlich mehr aus einem Scan holen, so soll das Forschen interessanter gestaltet werden
Überarbeitung des Userinterfaces: um den zahlreichen Änderungen gerecht zu werden, wurde auch das UI angepasst
visuelle Verbesserungen: deutlich verbesserte Texutren, Effekte und Anpassungen bei Gesprächen und im Fotomodus
Terrain-Anpassung: ihr könnt nun die Strukturen von Planeten anpassen und nun kreativer mit euren Bauten umgehen
Portale: wie in der ursprünglichen News angekündig, könnt ihr euch mittels Portalen zwischen Planetensystemen bewegen -> Schnellreise
Weltraumkämpfe: das Flug & Kampfsystem wurde deutlich von der Leine genommen und erlaubt nun deutlich umfangreichere bzw. "authentischere" Raumkämpfe
In-Orbit-Flug: endlich gibt es einen Niedrig-Flug, ihr könnt deutlich freier in der Planetenathmosphäre fliegen und dort auch Kämpfe abhalten

More base building parts have unique names
Prevented trees spawning on sheer cliffs

Changed the default starting ship model
Regenerated galaxy to remove differences between survival, normal and creative game modes

EXPLORATION
Improved balance of hazards between planets
Improved settings for hazard damage and strength
Reduce cave hazard recharge times
Added Shielding Shard to the starting player inventory
Limited the depth at which buildings can spawn underwater
GAMEPLAY
More tech available in tech shops
Balanced tech shop standing requirements
Standing lights have a proper name when you interact with them
Increased robustness of systems for locating buildings
Increased number and types of objects which can be scanned
Increased information available about scanned foliage and creatures
Improved planet resource lists
Craftable products now sorted by most recent use
Improved differentiation of weapons
Fixed pinning product recipes and technology guides
Continued story unlocked through abandoned buildings
Added interactions and dialogue options for many structures and characters
Overhauled secondary character interactions
Joint exploration has been introduced allowing 16 players to see visual representations of each other in game. Joint exploration does not require PS Plus, and is not currently available on GOG Galaxy.

Alloys, farm products and new gas products now form separate branches of a larger craft tree
Added new valuable higher tier craft products
