In wenigen Tagen startet der neue PlayStation Plus Service in Asien, dann in Amerika und am 23. Juni dann auch in Europa.

Neben den drei Stufen: PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra und PlayStation Plus Premium, wurden auch die ersten Spiele für Extra und Premium bestätigt. Die monatlichen Games für den Monat Juni wurden allerdings nicht verraten. Jedoch sollen die Spiele immer am ersten Dienstag des Moinats aktualisiert werden. Die zusätzlichen Games für die anderen beiden (teureren) Service sollen dann Mitte des Monats hinzugefügt werden.
