Einer der führenden Videogame-Publisher NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S., gibt den Goldstatus von NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 für das Xbox 360 Videospiel- und Entertainment System von Microsoft, das PlayStation 3 Computer Entertainment System bekannt.  Am 15.Oktober 2010 wird es soweit sein: Basierend auf der beliebten Animeserie NARUTO SHIPPUDEN, bietet das Spiel einen brandneuen Online-Modus, ein fortschrittliches Charakter-Unterstützungs-System und eine spannende Story – zusammen entsteht so ein packendes Spielerlebnis.

Entwickelt von CyberConnect2, weckt NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 2 die Lebensgeister der Animeserie durch seine reichhaltige Geschichte und sein fesselndes Gameplay. Während jede Geschichte zwei Seiten hat, bietet NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 2 gleich drei. Durch die Augen von Naruto, Sasuke und Jiraiya erleben die Spieler die Abenteuer. Neben den Fan-Ninja-Lieblingen werden im Spiel mehr als 40 spielbare Krieger auftauchen, um die Intensität der Kämpfe noch zu steigern. Als freischaltbarer Bonuscharakter taucht Lars Alexandersson von TEKKEN 6, der seine explosiven Signaturemoves in den Versus-Modus des Spieles anbringen wird. Lars wird natürlich in seinem TEKKEN 6-Kostüm, das von NARUTO-Erfinder Masashi Kishimoto entworfen wurde.

Werkgetreu der Vorlage werden Spieler nicht nur das Dorf Hinter den Blättern erkunden, sondern auch die Tenchi Brücke, das Versteck des Orochimaru und nun ebenso den Berg Myoboku. Zum ersten Mal in der Ultimate Ninja-Reihe ist auch Online-Versus-Spiel möglich, um herauszufinden, wer auf der Welt die besten Jutsu-Moves beherrscht. Durch das durchdachte Charakter-Unterstützungs-System müssen Spieler die richtigen Begleiter rekrutieren, damit diese ihnen helfen, explosive Team Ultimate Jutsus auf die Gegner loszulassen.
